Domaine Michelot has been a family-owned business for six generations and, having increased in size over the years, it now covers just under 20 hectares, including a number of prestigious vineyards. This release is the 2020 vintage of the domaine’s ‘Les Narvaux’, a premier cru situated quite high on the rocky slope overlooking Meursault village. This is a creamy and expressive wine, lifted by notes of orchard fruits and a vibrant acidity.

Domaine Michelot

Domaine Michelot has been owned and operated by the Michelot family for six generations and now comprises more than 19 hectares, including a number of notable Premier Crus in Meursault. The domaine is primarily recognised for the quality of their Chardonnays, which see a 6 - 12 hour cold pre-soak before fermentation, including malolactic. The finished wines are aged for 10 - 12 months in oak barrels, with around 15% being new oak, before they are blended in tank and rested for a further 5 - 6 months.

The village level wines are excellent, with an approachable ripeness, but it's the Premier Cru wines that truly show off the quality of the winemaking. The team producer four wines from argaubly Meursault's greatest hillside vineyards - Poruzot, Charmes, Genevrières and Perrières.
