Born in Beaune in 1975, Benjamin Leroux is a first-generation winemaker who launched his own label in 2007. Since then, his hand-crafted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cuvées from prestigious appellations in Burgundy have become highly sought-after across the globe. This release hails from La Pièce Sous le Bois, the highest of Meursault`s Premier Cru vineyards, at 350 meters above sea level. The altitude imparts a tangy freshness and chalky finish to what is a concentrated and juicy expression of Chardonnay.
