Latour-Giraud is a family-owned wine producer based in the village of Meursault. The Domaine has a long history dating back to the 17th century and is currently managed by Jean-Pierre Latour. The `Cuvée Charles Maxime` is made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from various vineyards within the Meursault appellation. This cuvée is named in honour of Charles Maxime Latour, a significant figure in the Domaine’s history. The wine is typically aged in oak barrels, with a portion of new oak to impart subtle toasty and vanilla notes.
