Based in the town of Meursault, Domaine Latour-Giraud was formed in 1958 when the local Giraud and Latour-Boillot families were united by the ties of marriage. Their vineyards consist of approximately 10 hectares, with circa 85% dedicated to white wines in the Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Bourgogne Blanc appellations. The Cuvée Charles Maxime is a blend from three distinct plots. Les Vireuils, Les Corbins and Les Pelles. The wine is both fermented and matured in oak barrels for 15-16 months, resulting in quite a rich, generous style.
