Marqués de Burgos is the Ribera del Duero project of Rioja estate, Bodegas LAN. This wine is produced from 100% Tempranillo sourced from 30-year-old vineyards in the Quintana del Pidio area and is aged for 8 months in American and French oak before an additional 10 months in bottle prior to release. Intense in aroma and flavour, it offers up notes of red and black berries, wild flowers, liquorice, cocoa nibs and vanilla. Rich and full-bodied, this would be the ideal wine to drink alongside a juicy rib-eye steak.
