Alfredo Maestro Almate 2022

Alfredo Maestro Almate 2022 is a medium-bodied Tempranillo red wine produced in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Produced from organically farmed Tempranillo grapes growing at 1,000m altitude, this wine was vinified with about 30% whole bunches, spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts and matured for four months in used French oak. No sulphur was added at any point. Almate offers a winning combination of darkly fruited richness and drinkability. Ripe red and black berry fruit combine with lavender and rose, with complementary notes of cherry liqueur and minerals. Excellent value.
