Lis Neris is a family-owned winery located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It was founded in 1879 by the Pecorari family and is now run by Alvaro Pecorari and his daughter Federica. Lis Neris is known for its production of high-quality white wines, particularly Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery also produces a small amount of red wine, including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. ‘Picol’ is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with a slightly smoky, herbal nose. The palate is quite punchy, boasting notes of peaches, passion fruit, elderflower and spices.
