The second wine of Graves estate, Château Liber Pater, named `Denarius` after the Roman coin, and produced in very small quantities from specific plots of vines. Owner-winemaker Loïc Pasquet purchased the estate in 2005. Highly sought after, the wines of Liber Pater have quickly achieved cult status. The 2018 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot and offers up notes of juicy blackberries, raspberries and dark chocolate nuances.
