Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 1995 is a mature Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the Napa Valley of California. Lewis Cellars produces full-bodied, concentrated, yet balanced red wines full of spiced black fruit and ripe mouth-coating tannins. Typically the winery matures its Bordeaux varieties in new French oak for around 20 months. American oak is also used in some of the Lewis Cellars red blends including the Alec`s Blend and Syrah cuvées. The wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered. "Excellent structure and depth of flavour, built around a core of rich yet elegant currant, mineral, black cherry and cedary oak flavours. The tannins are chewy and show a touch of earthiness and then veer to dryness, but the fruit flavours push through." Wine Spectator, 2005
