Leoville Las Cases 300cl 2005

Over the last couple of decades, the illustrious 2ème Cru Classé property, Château Léoville Las Cases, has cemented its reputation as one of the most consistent producers of exceptional quality wines in the Saint-Julien appellation. From the superb 2005 vintage comes this sublime wine comprised of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. It is dense, full-bodied and muscular, offering up delightful notes of cassis, mulberry, tobacco, woodsmoke and graphite. Once again this is an excellent release that will continue to improve over the next few decades.
