First produced in 1987, Saffredi is Fattoria Le Pupille’s flagship wine, a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby in colour, with purple reflections, the wine displays pronounced aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrants and black cherries, along with hints of cloves, cinnamon and liquorice. The palate offers a generous, velvety texture with round tannins and a return of the fruit for a lingering finish.
