The 2021 Le Blanc de Duhart-Milon comes from re-grafted Merlot vines in 2019, located on limestone soils. This was harvested around 25 August, a little later than others. It has a potent bouquet driven by that vivacious Sémillon, with honeysuckle and light white peach scents. There`s fine depth and rondeur. It`s slightly honeyed toward the saline finish. There will be another two hectares coming into production in 2023. - Neil Martin
Situated in the heart of Pauillac, Château Duhart-Milon is a perfect representative of its appellation. This Fourth Growth estate was founded in the 18th century under the leadership of the Lafite family, who covered Pauillac with vines at that time. This white Bordeaux is typically a Sémillon-dominant blend with some Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris. Expect notes of citrus fruit, apricot, toast and mineral accents.
