Pigato is a typical Ligurian grape variety, of Middle Eastern origin, which migrated to Europe, and found its natural habitat in the province of Imperia and the Albenga plain. Laura Aschero`s Pigato is an intense wine that stands out for its aromas of fresh herbs and almonds, hints of yellow-fleshed fruit and acacia honey. On the palate, it is full-bodied and dry, with its typical savoury and slightly bitter finish.
