Larrivet Haut-Brion 2000 is a full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation of Bordeaux. Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is a distinguished Bordeaux wine estate situated within the Pessac-Léognan region, approximately 15 kilometres to the south of Bordeaux`s city centre. The present estate encompasses 75 hectares devoted to red grape varieties, with a composition of 57% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and a touch of Petit Verdot. "The deep ruby/purple-coloured 2000`s rich, complex perfume displays aromas of cedar, black cherry liqueur, melted liquorice, scorched earth, tobacco, and new oak. The wine is rich, firm, tannic, concentrated, and medium to full-bodied with admirable sweetness of fruit. It is a beautiful effort..." Wine Advocate, 2003
