Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is a distinguished Bordeaux wine estate situated within the Pessac-Léognan region, approximately 15 kilometres to the south of Bordeaux`s city centre. The present estate encompasses 75 hectares devoted to red grape varieties, with a composition of 57% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and a touch of Petit Verdot. The 1966 vintage stands as a testament to a classic Bordeaux year, renowned for its wines of elegance and well-defined structure. Although these wines required some patience for their maturation, they ultimately surpassed expectations in terms of quality.
