Langoa Barton 2005

Château Langoa-Barton is a 3ème Grand Cru Classé estate situated in Saint-Julien and is well-known for producing incredibly traditional and formidably structured wines. The 2005 is only now just entering into an approachable phase for drinking but, with significant decanting, unfurls to reveal wonderful notes of blackberry, crème de cassis, cedar, tobacco and peppery spice. This will easily last another 20+ years and may well be worth holding onto a little longer.
