Giorgio Primo is the flagship wine of La Massa. This Toscana IGT wine is a Bordeaux blend, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, which underwent maturation in 80% new French oak barrels for 18 months. The 2003 vintage reveals aromas of blueberry, dried plums, dried cherries, and cocoa, lending it a character reminiscent of Port wine. On the palate, the wine is characterized by its elevated acidity, robust tannic structure, notes of sour cherries, and an impressively long finish, reflecting its exceptional quality.
