La Gritona Reposado is a reposado Tequila distilled and bottled in the Valle de Guadalupe of Jalisco, Mexico. This Tequila is aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for eight months before bottling. These barrels are reused with each new batch and the resting in barrels is done simply to soften and round out the Tequila rather than to introduce barrel flavours. La Gritona`s bottles are hand-blown with recycled Mexican glass in Zapopan, an hour away from the distillery.
