Distilled at the Tullamore distillery shortly before it was mouth-balled in the mid 1950s, this is a piece of liquid history in terms of Irish whiskey. The nose is replete with baked apple, dried plums and the faintest touch of toasted spice. The palate is medium bodied before a smooth finish with a hint of citrus peel and maltiness.
