This 12-year-old single malt is Knappogue Castle`s signature expression, made exclusively from malted barley. It is triple distilled in traditional, onion-shaped copper pot stills, one batch at a time. The whiskey is then aged in bourbon oak casks for 12 years. The flavour profile is complex and balanced, with notes of vanilla, caramel, spice, and fruit. The finish is long and lingering. A perfect whiskey to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
