The Japanese concept of ‘kaizen’, or ‘constant improvement’, resonates strongly in this recent undertaking. The term ‘Takumi’ translates to ‘master’ in Japanese, reflecting the celebration of the artistry and craftsmanship found in contemporary whisky blending.
