Founded in 2006 in Yilan County, Kavalan is the first and only distillery in Taiwan. From Kavalan`s Solist range comes this Amontillado-finished single malt, released in 2016. On the nose, beautiful scents of vanilla and dried apricot, plus subtle white chocolate notes. The palate displays some coffee spiciness, leading into rich toffee, treacle and toasted oak.
