Karuizawa 48 Year Old Cask 3603 1964

HED44067 70cl 57.7%
This is a very old and rare bottling from the cult Japanese distillery Karuizawa, which closed down in 2001. The whisky was aged for just over 48 years in a 400-litre sherry oak cask, and it is the oldest expression from Karuizawa available in the market. Being a single cask whisky, only 143 bottles were produced. Each of them has been individually numbered and presented in a stunning dark wooden box. Karuizawa 1964 Cask #3603 was bottled at natural cask strength of 57.7% ABV.
