K Vintners is a winery in Walla Walla Valley, Washington, founded by trailblazer Charles Smith in 2001. They are well-known for producing high-quality, expressive Syrah wines that showcase the unique terroir of Washington State. ‘The Deal Syrah’ is one of their single-vineyard wines, sourced from the Sundance Vineyard in the Wahluke Slope AVA. The 2011 vintage is a full-bodied, rich and complex wine that showcases the intensity of fruit and the structure that the Wahluke Slope is known for. The wine is made from 100% Syrah and aged in French oak barrels for around 18 months.
