A stellar Barossa Shiraz from one of the world`s great winemakers, John Duval, with fruits sourced from vines aged 50-100 years old. Made with minimal intervention, this wine truly showcases the best of Barossa. The 2016 release marks the tenth vintage of Eligo, displaying the palate texture, length and restrained power that has defined this wine since the inaugural 2005 vintage release. Deep purple in colour with aromas of blackberry and blueberry, complemented by hints of liquorice, nutmeg and spice on the nose. Concentrated layers of berry flavours, earthy savouriness and smoked meat come through on the palate. The finish is long and lingering.
