J’Noon is a joint venture between Kapil Sekhri of Fratelli wines and Jean-Charles Boisset. The wines are selected from the Fratelli vineyards in Akluj (Maharashtra), on the right bank of the Nira River about 170 kilometres south of Pune. The 2020 white is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Sauvignon Blanc fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. This a white wine that combines the green apple, white pear and stone fruit flavours of Chardonnay with fresh, vibrant lime, lemongrass, white pepper, jasmine and herbaceous fruit flavours of Sauvignon Blanc.
