Hailing from Australia`s Clare Valley, the vineyard used to produce this wine derives its name from a nearby hamlet of Armagh, established by Irish settlers in 1849 and named after lush, rolling hills of their homeland. At 14.6% abv., this 100% Shiraz is wonderfully warming. The 1999 vintage saw favourable climate conditions in the Clare Valley, with a dry summer and sufficient rain before harvest to allow for perfect ripeness. A rich and concentrated wine, with layers of black-fruit and glorious mocha complexity.
