Pesquera is a highly acclaimed producer in the Ribera Del Duero and the Janus Gran Reserva is an exceptionally rare cuvée only produced in the greatest vintages. The 1994 is an incredible release made from 100% Tempranillo exhibiting a remarkably intense bouquet of cassis, blackberry liqueur, incense, woodsmoke, cedar and graphite. On the palate it is sumptuous and rich, with silky smooth tannins and soft, rounded texture.
