Il Pino di Biserno is the second wine produced by Tenuta di Biserno, a renowned winery located in the coastal region of Tuscany. It is a joint venture between Marchese Lodovico Antinori, known for his work at Ornellaia and his brother Piero Antinori, who is the CEO of Marchesi Antinori, a renowned Italian wine company. The 2019 Il Pino di Biserno is a blend of 40% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. The nose combines aromas of blackberries, plums and cherries, alongside notes of tobacco, spices and earth. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with layers of ripe dark fruit and velvety tannins.
