This is the second release of Holyrood Distillery`s new-make spirit series, made with a combination of 90% pot still distiller`s malt and 10% crystal malt. Crystal malt is usually used to make beer, adding an intriguing character to the whisky. Expect some nutty flavours, with touches of almond and caramel, alongside strong malt notes.
