This unpeated whisky is matured in Bourbon barrels for three years, then transferred to casks of new Mongolian oak. On the nose, aromas of green apples and gooseberries, with hints of new oak and sandalwood. The palate has a spicy kick, including cloves and nutmeg, balanced against creamy shortbread notes. There is a touch of tropical fruit on the finish, with more spice lingering.
