This elegant Hermitage Blanc is a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne from vines that were planted back in 1926. The nose combines aromas of mandarin, persimmons, stewed pears, white peaches, and ginger. Its mineral-driven and textured profile is further enhanced by a bitter almond core, which contributes to an impressive length on the palate. Guillaume Sorrel recommends exercising patience and suggests holding onto this wine for at least 10 years before indulging in its full splendour.
