Martha`s Vineyard is a specific vineyard site in the Oakville AVA of Napa Valley, which has been associated with Heitz Cellar since the 1960s. The vineyard is known for producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which, when crafted by Heitz Cellar, result in distinctive and age-worthy wines. The 1967 vintage of Heitz Martha`s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is now considered a rare and valuable collector`s item. As the wine has aged for several decades, it displays a complex array of tertiary flavours and aromas, such as leather, tobacco, dried fruits, and earth, along with some remaining primary fruit characteristics.
