Grange des Pères Rouge 2017 is a full-bodied, blended red wine from the Languedoc region of France. Domaine de la Grange des Pères was established in 1989 by the late founder Laurent Vaillé (who trained with such wine luminaries as Jean Francois Coche-Dury (Meursault), Gérald Chave (Hermitage) and Eloi Durrbach (Domaine de Trévallon, Provence) before settling in the Hérault region of the Languedoc) who repurposed land acquired by his grandfather in the 1950s. The winery emphasises meticulous vineyard management and careful winemaking techniques to capture the individual aspects of their vineyards. The estate red is typically a blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Mouvèdre, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Counoise.
