Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret covers approximately 30 hectares of vines spread across 35 appellations. The estate owns parcels in four prestigious Grand Cru sites. Clos de Vougeot, Richebourg, Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux where this release comes from. Aged in 100% new oak, the wine is typically full-bodied, rich and exceptionally harmonious. 2009 was a particularly good vintage for red Burgundy, producing well-structured wines with rich, luscious fruit.
