Patron

The most recognisable and the biggest-selling premium Tequila brand, Patron was established in 1989 by entrepreneurs John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. Patrón Tequilas are handmade by a team of about 700 employees in the small town of Atotonilco in Jalisco, Mexico. The Patrón Spirits Company now boasts a broad portfolio of ultra-premium spirits, however its signature Patrón Tequila line is led by Patrón Silver and Patrón XO Tequilas.

Other products such as Patrón XO Café (a Tequila infused with coffee liqueur), Patrón Citrónge (a Tequila infused with orange liqueur) have now become hugely popular in cocktail bars and among individual customers. Such has been Patron’s success over the past three decades that the brand now outsells all other Tequila brands combined.
