The Gracia vineyard spans just over two hectares in Saint-Émilion, and the wines are crafted in a compact winery, essentially a garage tucked away in an alley in Saint-Emilion town. The vineyard`s planting aligns with regional proportions, predominantly featuring around 80% Merlot, with nearly all of the remaining vines dedicated to Cabernet Franc. A small section is reserved for Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 vintage presents a nose filled with dark and red berries, complemented by well-integrated oak. The palate mirrors these impressions, exhibiting exquisite acidity and tannins. This is a modernly crafted and beautiful wine.
The 2010 Gracia has a deep blackberry and briary scented bouquet with touches of fig and dates, maybe just a little over-mature compared to others. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a little gamey in style with juniper and allspice towards the chewy finish.
