This is Lot #80 from 2016. It is 100% Cabernet Franc from the Pirque Vineyard in the Maipo Valley which sits at 700m elevation on an ancient riverbed. It is bold and richly fruited but has admirable freshness, subtle stoney minerality and a classically varietal herbal (bay leaf/mint) streak. This is a delicious wine of which just 11 barrels were made.
