Since 1998, Mauro von Siebenthal, a Swiss lawyer and wine aficionado, has been producing characterful and terroir-driven wines in the Valle de Aconcagua in Chile. Parcela #7 is medium-bodied, richly-fruited and supple wine composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petit Verdot, 15% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. A lovely wine jam-packed full with notes of cassis, black cherry, pipe tobacco and wild herbs.
