Flor de Caña 25-year-old sits at the very top of the Nicaraguan rum-maker’s range. The sugar cane that goes into every bottle is grown on the family-owned estate and offers a balanced profile of fruit and nutty notes. The nose is floral and sweet at first, with a touch of fresh sugarcane, followed by savoury undertones of rye bread, thyme and cayenne pepper. The palate is creamy, with hints of papaya, kiwi and pear.
