Fess Parker Winery was founded in 1989 by actor Fess Parker [1924-2010], who became famous for his television roles as American frontier icons Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone. Based in Santa Barbara County, it remains one of the few wineries still family-owned and operated. This Pinot Noir hails from Ashley`s Vineyard, located in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. It is a darker, more brooding expression of Pinot Noir, boasting notes of cherry, forest floor, floral element and even a touch of smoke.
