Felton Road is a highly regarded winery located in the Central Otago region of New Zealand. It is known for producing exceptional wines, particularly Pinot Noir, that have gained recognition both domestically and internationally. Since 2002 the vineyards have been managed organically and biodynamically. In 2010 all four vineyards were awarded full Demeter certification and in 2020 they were all also certified by BioGro. This Pinot Noir was aged for 13 months in 25% new French oak barrels from artisan Burgundian coopers. In accordance with the winery’s non-interventionalist approach to winemaking, the wine was fermented with indigenous yeast and malolactic, and was not fined or filtered.
