Evening Land is based around a special vineyard in Seven Springs in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA just north of Salem. Superstar sommelier Rajat Parr and winemaker Sashi Moorman took over in 2014 so this is the first vintage that they were completely involved in from start to finish. This Pinot Noir is made from biodynamic old vines planted in very shallow soils. The 2019 vintage is still in its youth but revealing lovely notes of red cherries, cranberries, cedar, eucalyptus and a touch of purple flowers.
