Envínate Migan 2021 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard red wine produced from 100% Listán Negro in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands of Spain. The wine is fermented as 75% whole bunches and is matured for eight months in cement vats before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. "The 2021 is quite reductive when first poured and needs a bit of time in decanter to blossom, but eventually a complex bouquet of dark berries, bitter cherry, cigar ash, volcanic soils, damp herb tones, a touch of tree bark and a hint of curry in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and complex, with a lovely core, superb mineral undertow and grip, ripe tannins and a long, well-balanced and very promising finish. This needs some hibernation time to soften up tis tannins a bit more; it will be a fine bottle once it is truly ready to drink." John Gilman, 2023
