This 2005 Pinot Noir from Elyse comes from Wild Horse Valley which is the smallest sub-appellation in the Napa Valley. It is particularly mountainous and rises to 1,500ft in some parts with cold winds from the San Pablo Bay making it cooler than Carneros and thus ideal for Pinot Noir.
