Comando G El Tamboril Tinto 2020 is a single-vineyard Garnacha red wine from the Sierra de Gredos in central Spain. Produced from old Garnacha bush vines growing at high altitude on decomposed granite soils, El Tamboril Tinto is produced by the dynamic winemaking duo of Daniel Landi and Fernando Garcia. Wholebunch fermentation with natural yeasts is followed by an extended post-ferment maceration, with minimal movement, and ageing in large oak foudres. The result is delicate, mineral and profoundly complex - a pinot-esque Garnacha of a very rare stripe.
