Daniel Landi and Fernando García, both accomplished winemakers with successful individual ventures at Bodegas Jimenez-Landi and Bodega Marañones, respectively, joined forces in 2008 to create a collaborative winemaking project. Comando G. Alongside Priorat pioneers, Dani and Fer are reshaping the perception of Garnacha, traditionally considered a workhorse variety. `El Tamboril Tinto` was first produced from the 2016 vintage, originating from a north-facing vineyard situated at an elevation of 1230m with sandy granite soil. Despite the late October harvest due to altitude and orientation, the wine maintains a moderate alcohol content of no more than 12.5% ABV. The wine undergoes a 14-month maturation in a 1000-liter French oak vat before bottling
