Pago de los Capellanes is a premium winery in the Burgos district of the Ribera del Duero D.O. El Nogal is made from 100% Tempranillo from a single estate in the village of Pedrosa de Duero and is aged for 18 months in French oak casks. Intense in colour, aroma and flavour, this is a classic but superbly elegant iteration of Ribera del Duero Tempranillo with wonderful notes of black and red fruits, incense, coffee, liquorice and graphite. A delicious, full-bodied red that would be superb with a chargrilled steak.
