Founded in 1989 by former wine-broker Fernándo Remírez de Ganuza, this Rioja estate established its roots by acquiring high-quality plots in Rioja Alavesa. Presently, their vineyard holdings span six different locations, encompassing over 80 hectares, predominantly planted with Tempranillo, Viura, and Malvasia. The 1994 Gran Reserva exhibits signs of evolution while ageing beautifully. A subtle bricking on the rim is apparent, accompanied by notes of herbs, earth, and tea. It features an interplay of cherry and plum fruit, complemented by a silky, smooth texture.
