Meaning `the greatest` in Spanish, El Mayor is made at the Gonzãlez family-owned distillery, which is overseen by Rodolfo Gonzãlez. Like all expressions from the range, ‘Extra Añejo’ is made with 100% estate-grown blue agave from the valley area of Jalisco. The spirit has been aged in American oak for three and a half years, adding an extra layer of vanilla and spice. Expect notes of toffee, macadamia nuts and cacao nibs.
